Tobias Eze, FCILSCM, Ch.MLM

The Global Trade Strategist widely known as Mr. Importer-Exporter, is a globally recognized freight forwarder, serial entrepreneur with a commanding presence across Africa and Asia. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Lyte Shipping Ltd, Founder of Asia Boom Express, and Director of Boom Tech Global Manufacturing Ltd, leading integrated operations that connect factories, ports, and markets across continents with precision and efficiency. Tobias serves as the Nigeria Business Representative of the China–Africa Chamber of Commerce, playing a strategic role in strengthening bilateral trade relations, fostering cross-border partnerships, and facilitating high-level business engagements between Africa and China.

Lagos Business School OMP 45 Class Captain, who is also a Doctoral Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Nigeria), a recognition of his significant contributions to the advancement of logistics, supply chain systems, and industry development. He is also a member of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

As the Convener of the Import & Export Conference, Tobias has built a high-impact platform that brings together government agencies, global industry leaders, multinational corporations, and emerging entrepreneurs — bridging the critical gap between policy, trade execution, and market realities.

The Beginning

My journey into global trade started with a simple question: how do products move from one country to another and still remain profitable?

At the time, I had no roadmap, no mentors, and no structured access to international supply chains. Everything I learned came through trial, observation, and real-world engagement in trade and logistics.

The Struggle

I encountered delays, failed shipments, unreliable suppliers, and costly mistakes that most beginners in importation face.

These challenges weren't just financial,they were educational. Every mistake revealed a gap in knowledge that most people never get access to.

The Breakthrough

The turning point came when I stopped treating trade as guesswork and started building structured systems around sourcing, logistics, and supplier verification.

That shift led to the creation of a practical ecosystem that now supports entrepreneurs through training, logistics (Lyte Shipping), and direct access to verified suppliers in China.
